One of the biggest problems in the shipyard and aviation industries is closing the facades of large-span buildings. We produce large hangar doors that operate mechanically with engine power, designed according to the purpose of the building and the customer's demand.
LID produces hangar doors, fold-up PVC fabric hangar doors, fabric hangar doors and fire-resistant doors for aircraft and helicopter maintenance hangars, shipyards, tram and trolleybus maintenance stations, and wide-span maintenance and protection hangars.
Special designs are prepared in our own structure according to the needs of each customer. We design, produce, install and service in accordance with regional durability calculations. Thanks to a usage performance compatible with all kinds of industrial environments, our doors are used in production facilities, aircraft hangars, shipyards and recycling facilities.
The most prominent feature of the door system is that it requires the least amount of space at the installation point, giving you the opportunity to use the door passage to the maximum.
Each of these buildings has the same problem in a different shape: a very large opening that has to close reliably.
Every system below is produced in our own factory and dimensioned for the project, not selected from stock sizes.

They are preferred for aircraft and helicopter maintenance hangars, shipyards, tram and trolleybus maintenance stations, and wide-span maintenance and protection hangars. Hangar doors can be produced in solid 50 x 50 m dimensions.
Unlimited in width — hangar doors are produced in the width you want thanks to the folding side guide. Above 50 m, doors are synchronised with a mullion system.
The equipment of the hangar door is the rope break safety system, two motors, two rope drums and one control unit.
Production times of hangar doors are 45-50 days. Depending on the intensity of the factory, this period can be up to 60 to 90 days. High speed fabric doors take about 10 days.
Since these are special projects, prices vary according to each project, so a fixed price cannot be given.
